What's actually in the platform.
Title and product data
Upload entire catalogs or add individual products through a form using ONIX-formatted fields. A second tab handles marketing materials, cover images and BISAC codes. Multiple formats — paperback, eBook, hardcover — can sit under one product, with inventory automatically tracked against sales and returns.
Orders and customers
The Orders section logs every income event from book sales. Add customers with customizable classes (distributors, vendors, direct accounts) and create orders with discounts, payment terms and shipment status — the way you actually run the business.
Creators and royalty terms
Manage contributors in bulk or individually. WorkingLit supports list price, net receipts, net profits and profit-sharing royalty structures, plus regional terms that vary by geography.
Expenses and reporting
Link expenses to specific products or categories. The Reporting section provides profit-and-loss statements, product-specific analysis and top-revenue lists, exportable to CSV and PDF.
